This is a really short diary (for me, anyway). Every time I think about where this country is at right now, I come back to the Floriduh results in the 2000 presidential election:
Bush: 2,912,790
Gore: 2,912,253
Nader: 97,488
We can argue all day about stolen elections, and what could have been -vs- what is. But on the day that the stacking of the Supreme Court is close to completion, I revisit 2000 once again, and the principal agrument put forth by the Green Party in their quioxtic quest. To answer Mr. Nader's supporters (with 5 years in the rear view mirror): Yes, there was a difference. Can you hear me now?
