New Year's Eve Open Thread

There's a lot that feels different this New Year's Eve -- yes, the economy sucks, but at least now everyone acknowledges that it does. We have good governing to look forward to in the coming year. Before saying "President-elect Obama" even has a chance to get old, we'll be able to start saying "President Obama."

And, on a less sweeping but nonetheless immediately relevant note, I have something to do besides sit here putting up open threads and chatting with y'all in comments. But here's a thread to start you off with.
