Republican Terbolizard, who has made several you-tube videos for his CA- 04 campaign describing and actually showing his skiing abilities on the slopes, suddenly seemed to have a klutz attack when accosted after midnight by Grass Valley's intrepid DUI speedtrap squad.
"I did my field sobriety tests on a wet, gravely slope in soft mud," Terbolizard said. "It would have been impossible for a ballerina to do."

It didn't seem to me that I was a physical liability to operate the vehicle; I did, as the article states, work with the breathalizer and blood test procedure, unaware that I would be at risk of testing greater than the legal blood alcohol limit. It's not like the sort of Lindsay Lohan story or Nicole Ritchie story where I was driving 5mph the wrong way on the freeway with the doors open and a car full of narcotics, it was absolutley nothing like that; no car crash or anything."
(To their credit, many of the livejournal commentors do a better job of emphasizing to Terbolizard why it was an irresponsible, dangerous thing to do than the comments I saw on the regular msm paper. )
While Republican Terbolizard didn't, Thank Whatever Higher Power, have a "car full" of illegal drugs in Grass Valley, ( WTF? with pot the biggest cash crop in Norcal, insert own witty punchline) he did have something else very interesting that the cops confiscated... a laptop computer full of campaign information, a camera, and a box containing $10,000 in cash. Which they are not going to give back to him until Tuesday.

Terbolizard is also filed with the FEC as a Republican last November, to run for the CA- 04 seat. Now here is where it gets more interesting. I've checked, and unless I'm missing something, his statement of candidacy and his statement of organization (forms 1 and 2) are the ONLY things he's filed since November. There is no financial year end report for 2007, which was due to be filed Jan 15 2008. There is nothing for this year, either. No monthly reports, nada zip nothing.
I also have done other searches with other sites, trying to find any contributors or records, and am pulling up nothing. This means that either all contributors are flying under the radar by giving donations under $200, or the book keeping is ... lacking.

Now I'm looking at FEC image 27039564905, page 3, and it lists Theodore Terbolizard of Cedar Ridge, CA as the Treasurer and the Custodian of Records for the TerboCongress Campaign Committee. The next page lists the bank depository as Bank of America, 4th Street and Brannan, San Francisco, CA, 94107
Now, if you are Republican Terbolizard, and you were listing your residence as a PO box in Cedar Ridge (that's next to Grass Valley) for residency, and you're the one man band with this campaign financial stuff, why would you be using a bank in San Franciso as your campaign depository?

The Pakistanis caught the first alleged bomber, an associate of Ramzi Yousef. Khalid Sheik Mohammed is currently being held in Guantanamo bay and is known as the chief planner of 9/11. He's lucky that neocon Repub Doolittle, who's never gotten thru a campaign speech without blaming all of society's ills on San Franciso "liberals," didn't have him waterboarded. As I said, it's not the Onion, It's My Congressional District. I was going to save these videos, which I found a few months ago, for later in the primary season, for some fun and speculation on to just who and what actually hired Terbolizard to "run" for the CA- 04 seat held currently by Doolittle, (was it Rove, the RNC, the RNCC, Oller, Ose, or Doolittle?) but it looks like Mr Terbolizard may have gotten himself into a bit of a pickle with the GV Cops having confiscated his laptop and all that cash. I have always maintained that Ron Paul and the Paulbots were nothing more than some entertaining ways for Republicans to gather cash and then use the money for "soft" PAC donations to other causes. With cash in short supply this year for Republicans, you can't tell me it's unlikely somebody at the bar didn't make a phone call the second he finished his beers and left.
