I just watched Howard Dean's reaction to yesterday's results on the C-Span website.
At the beginning of the event they show a 2-minute campaign video.
I am a proud Kerry supporter and I have never really liked Dean, but watching this video I thought:
"Wow, he got me!"
That was the most inspirational ad/video I have ever seen. If Dean had run this video as a campaign ad in Iowa and NH and if he had continued to campaign like that instead of turning negative, I am sure he would not only the nominee but he would definitely be the next President of the United States.
This man is truly inspirational. Some people say Edwards is Kennedyesque, but Dean reminds me much more of the things I read and saw about Bobby Kennedy.
Howard Dean will not be President. But watching this video I realized: Howard Dean has changed America.
It's our responsibility, most of all all your Deaniacs' responsibility, to continue to believe in and stand up for the cause Howard Dean stood up for. Don't stop fighting. Don't stop getting on my and other non-Deaniacs nervs. Don't stop challenging conventional wisdom and the establishment. Don't stop dreaming. Don't give up your vision.
Howard Dean doesn't fail if he doesn't win the Presidency. Howard Dean only fails if you give up. Howard Dean only fails, if you forget:
You have the power. You still have the power
