Wes Clark's biggest weakness during the primaries was his lack of facility with domestic issues. If he could run for Governor, and win, he would instantly have domestic issue credibility to go with his military credentials.
I still think Wes Clark could be a superb presidential candidate, if he could beef up his credibility and knowledge on the domestic side.
Do we otherwise have a strong challenger against Huckabee in 2006?
Whaddya think? Good idea?
Update [2004-11-20 16:27:46 by pontificator]: The response to this idea has been quite positive. Should we start another "Draft Clark" movement -- this time for Governor of Arkansas? Are there any Arkansans reading this who could spearhead the effort?
