I look on in contempt as these 'immigration reformers' discolor MY American Flag with their bigotry. Spare me the 'Holier Than Thou I Was Here First So You Get Out' indignant routine. We all came from somewhere. Isn't that what makes America great?
It's when they want to leave that I worry.
Either 'you' ran across the Bering Straight land bridge, were on the Mayflower, got off a plane yesterday, or somewhere in between. We all came from somewhere, so where are you from?
And can I just say a warm fuzzy real quick? This morning I watched on the local news the flocks of supporters who hit the streets on this most important of issues hitting America today.
And the news anchor quoted the police saying they made no arrests and two separate marches went smoothly. Maybe I've had too much coffee, or maybe a sunny day in Seattle changes the mood, but I love hearing about a protest or march that was not reduced to TV-News style violence. It made me realize more times than not I love this country. Or this coffee anyway...
