DON'T PLAY to the other's frame on Obama

Ok, the new false meme out there, put out by Clinton supporters or Obama detractors, is that people voting for Obama are doing so with their heart and not their head, or that they are emotional, or that they are 'cultists'.

It's absurd on the face of it and an insult to 90% of us who are  voting for him for very calculated, thoughtful and rational reasons (and yes, he inspires too).

So, lets change the frame.

Obama is the best chance to win against McCain.

Obama is extremely qualified.

Obama has very well thought-out and detailed positions.

Obama is most able to persuade, with his reason and oratory, a huge middle of the nation who have been made ready for it by conseratives' failures to follow a progressive path.

Obama is the best candidate and THAT is why we are excited by him.

I don't like a lot of what Andrew Sullivan says, but he's right on this: An unemotional case for Obama.

and he is inspiring (which goes to that last point about persuading others to follow the progressive path.
