Some of Hillary's ardent supporters include Rush Limbaugh and Anne Coulter. If Barack Obama must face intense media scrutiny about Rev. Wright and his inflammatory comments, why is it that Hillary's campaign is silent about Rush Limbaugh's open support for Hillary Clinton?
Yes I know that Wright was Obama's pastor, which is a lot closer to his campaign than Rush or Coulter are to Hillary's. But if the media wants to play this game of holding candidates resposnible for the words of their supporters, I think this is fair game. Especially so when Limbaugh's open advocacy of Clinton may already have influenced some of the vote in her favor. it looks like more republicans will vote for Hillary now that McCain has won the nomination, taking Rush's advice, i.e. a vote for Hillary now is a vote for McCain later.
I mean, McCain has got to lean way right to capture the conservative base: "values voters" – like the fine folks in this rockin' video. (warning, please have barfbag handy before before watching)
If conservatives want to play this game, they must be held accountable for the Westboro Baptist Church. They must RejectandDenounce!!
I mean, while we're playing this game of guilty by association – no matter what association – shouldn't Hillary have to denounce her supporter Anne Coulter for calling John Edwards a Fag?
Even as CNN reported Obama's denouncement of Rev. Wright's comments, they took the opportunity to replay the disturbing clip yet again and again and again! This guy retired a year ago! So if all is fair game, lets see some fair and balanced cartoonish guilt by association in the media.
