Job Posting- Executive Director Needed

Obama borrowed his election strategy from the DLC. That's right. You read it here:
“What he has done is he has certainly taken a good part of the strategy we have articulated over the years,” Mr. From said. “Which is to not polarize, but try to unite and build a coalition that understands that a Democratic victory is a coalition.”
Here's the linky from The New York Observer article dated March 4th, the day of the Texas, Ohio, Vermont, and Rhode Island primaries. It's my feeling that this is how they will justify their existence once Obama wins the nomination. We we're with him, even when we were against him.
According to Al From, the DLC's founder and CEO, the DLC strategy also was responsible for Democratic gains in Congress in 2006:
“The other is what I call a D.L.C.-Clinton strategy which says we have to offer solutions and big ideas and approaches and reach out and not only appeal to Democrats but have a broader appeal to independent and some Republicans because in the end there aren't enough Democrats to win,” he said.
This, Mr. From said, was Mr. Obama’s approach.
“A D.L.C.-Bill Clinton strategy prevailed in 2006,” he said. “We won the Congress not because the electorate became that much more Democratic or liberal but because we were able to capture voters in the center of the electorate. I think Obama has carried that on.”
Sure am glad we've got folks like the DLC to help run our party. The Repub's are just a bunch of liars that twist the truth to suit what they're trying to sell at the given moment. Democrats would never act like that.
BTW, the DLC is hiring. Al From can be your boss:

A center-left political organization that promotes a third way approach to national issues is looking to hire an Executive Director (ED). The ED is responsible for both the day-to-day running of the organization (and it's sister policy think tank) and developing strategic plans for the long term future of the organization. He or she will report directly to the CEO and Founder of the institution. The ED would also manage the organization's political department which oversees a large network of state and local elected officials and serves as the foundation's liaison to the Congress.
Candidates should have a minimum of five to ten years experience in government (federal and/or state/local level), public policy, or political operations. Management experience is highly preferable. A graduate degree is preferable but not requireed. Salary is commensurate to experience.
