Obama's Skills Trump Clinton and McCain's Experience

Much ado has been made about Barack Obama's supposed lack of experience making him unqualified for the presidency. Apparently Senators Clinton and McCain don't think that more than a decade (in the Illinois and US Senate) Obama has served in government is enough.
Let's look at it from the standpoint of the election process being an incredibly long, complicated and convoluted job interview, and we, the voters, are the HR department.
theres more...
Our company has a strong history, but the outgoing CEO must have got his job training from Enron, because this outfit is a mess. We have a capable workforce, but the guy with the golden parachute looted all the accounts and this company is badly in debt. We need a new CEO, one who can get management on the same page and the workforce involved in getting this company back on track.
We have narrowed the field to three applicants.
Candidate #1 - has worked for the company for half a century. In management for most of them. Major skills? Replicating the policies of the outgoing CEO. Served heroically in the military as a young man. Has been involved in many infractions against company policy and has gone along with bad decisions by the CEO even when he knew they were against company policy.
Candidate #2 - says she has worked for the company for 35 years. In management for the last 8 or so. Major skills? Besides pissing people off, she is married to the man who was CEO before the one who is leaving now, and thinks that should count as work experience. Has also agreed with CEO's bad decisions.
Candidate #3 - Has been with the company 10 years or so; before that he studied and even taught the main subject our company is based on. Major skills?
The ability to organize people to accomplish tasks for themselves, and to show others how to accomplish them.
The ability to bring together different people and motivate them to work toward a common goal.
A complete and thorough understanding of company policy and how our company should be run.
A personal understanding of the concerns of the workforce, as he spent many years among them and assisting them before going into management.
The ability to represent our company admirably to the world.
Spoke out strongly against the CEO as the bad decisions that have hurt our company were being made.
Which candidate would you choose?
Restoring the constitution to its rightful place as the cornerstone on which our government and our nation rests is one of the most important things the next president must do if our country is to survive. Barack Obama's years as a constitutional law scholar will prove invaluable to this task.
His skills in organizing people are apparent in the amazing campaign he has built. Applying those skills to government could give us a FEMA that actually helped people in disasters, A SSA that didn't make people wait 3 years for a determination on their disability claims, a VA that actually cared for the veterans under their jurisdiction, fairly bid contracts to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.
Barack Obama represents the future; Hillary Clinton and John McCain, the past.
We must move forward or we will go nowhere. Given the state of the world right now, that is not an option.
Viva Obama!
