'Most leading Democrats are in Denial; it's too frightening.

Brad Blog has an exchange between Don Siegelman and Mark Crispin Miller (author of "Fooled Again", an important work about the integrity of elections in America.

The goodies on the flip.

This is described as an e-mail exchange occurring in the past 2 days and focuses on the theft of (electronic flipping) an election in Alabama in 2002.

The main import of this is that this seems to be a verified "flipping" and our wonderful "liberal media" have seen fit to completely ignore the issue.

First Mr. Miller

The other, more important thing is this: As you may or may not know, the one aspect of your long ordeal that the press has stubbornly refused to mention--or, I think, even to perceive--is the theft of that election in 2002. Like you, I believe that that was crucial; but the press, quite typically, won't mention it. Frankly, I believe that they, and most leading Democrats, are in denial about it, as its implications are too frightening. Just as they've looked away from all the evidence of vast election fraud throughout Bush/Cheney's reign, they've also looked away from the subversion of that gubernatorial race in Alabama.

Yeah, the implications are frightening.

Elections are being stolen and Democratic leaders are being targeted by a politicized DOJ, a process that is, in turn, abetted by the "media".

Those of us who have accepted and understand this is really happening here aren't quivering in our boots though - we're pissed off.

Mr. Siegelman's reply:

Mark, I mention the vote stealing in every interview. 60 Minutes cut it out. Don Abrams didn't want to go there either. I have told the story to the Washington Post and LA Times.

Democrats do NOT have the luxury of being skeeered.

Don Siegelman is an example of what's going to happen more and more and more if "leading Democrats" (Nancy Pelosi? John Conyers?) don't pull their heads out of their asses and look directly into the core of the sun.

There are no monsters under your bed.

They sit across the aisle from you.

They are the President, the Vice President, and the bulk of the people who remain active in this criminal administration.

And, again, all roads lead back to Rove.

Investigating Rove (which, if done correctly, will take years) has to be the single bestest place in the whole wide  world to start.

It's the proverbial no-brainer.

A slam dunk.

Too bad the leading Dems are just too frightened to do anything of substance.

So afwaid of the big bad Wepubwicans and Kawl F-n Wove.

Tsk Tsk.

If they weren't so afraid they could smell the fear 'across the aisle' and they'd feel more like attacking this.

What would Republicans do if it were the Dems in the same boat the GOP is in right now?

You KNOW they'd do everything imaginable to sink that boat.
