A group of eight union members and supporters of Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton demonstrated outside opponent Sen. Barack Obama’s Altoona office at 3961 Sixth Ave. in response to his comments last week that small-town Pennsylvanians facing hard economic times are bitter.
Those 8 brave Americans standing up for Hillary Clinton and against Obama evil Bitterness! This is the new evil forget the Media PROTEST OBAMA!
Even out-of-state Clinton supporters brought the campaign to Pennsylvania, such as Michelle Pancoe of Buffalo, N.Y., a teacher and member of the American Federation of Teachers.
Laura Peters, a volunteer from Iowa who will remain here until after the April 22 primary, called Obama’s comment "very bothersome" and said she doesn’t think he has the experience to be president.
See folks anyone can help join the PA protest at Obama HQ! You to can come help Clinton out!

In the small town of Braddock, Mayor John Fetterman said he supports Obama and blames the Clinton campaign for attempting to turn Pennsylvanians against each other.
Some small-town residents said Obama's comments have not changed how they will vote.
"He sees what a lot of other politicians don't see and a lot of (them) don't come around here. They'll go to Pittsburgh. They don't go to the small neighborhoods where there is nothing," Rankin resident Gloria Sinko said.
Ouch that has to hurt!
Sonjala Allen said Obama's words were taken out of context.
"I am a little bitter about what's happening with our country," she said. "I am angry, that's why I am getting involved to make a change. Who has motivated me to that? Barack Obama."

PA Small Town and Rural Leaders Reject Clinton and McCain Attacks
Twenty-one elected officials and community leaders from small towns and rural areas throughout Pennsylvania today released an open letter asking fellow Pennsylvanians to set aside Senators Clinton and McCain’s recent attempts at political point-scoring and consider who will fight for them as President.
Dear Fellow Pennsylvanian,
We live in small towns and rural areas throughout Pennsylvania and we support Barack Obama for President.
A few days ago, Sen. Obama made some comments that his opponents are now using to make him appear as if he is something he is not. Instead of speaking to us honestly about how they intend to solve the problems we are facing, they are playing the same old Washington games that accomplish nothing.
What Sen. Obama said is that over the last 25-30 years, working class people in places like Pennsylvania have been falling behind, and that politicians in Washington haven’t been looking out for them. He also said that, as a result, many people have become frustrated, angry and even bitter about all the broken promises.
He was right.
The politicians who are now saying that we shouldn’t be frustrated are the ones who are out of touch.
People in the towns and communities we live in have seen their jobs shipped overseas. We’ve seen our pensions disappear. We’ve seen our health care costs skyrocket. We’ve seen everything from the cost of gasoline to a gallon of milk go through the roof.
As our families have struggled to make ends meet and our communities fought to stay intact, how has Washington responded? By giving tax breaks to the wealthy, rewarding corporations who ship jobs overseas, and turning the levers of power over to the lobbyists and special interests.
Sincerely,
Ted Alter, State College

Ouch see those real PA people just don't get it! Forget the Iraq war! Forget the Gas Prices! Forget the out of work Americans who just had their job outsourced! It's highly important to Protest Obama. BTW DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT FORGET TO PICK UP BITTERNESS STICKER!

In Goldsboro, close observers noticed a (light) smattering of stickers being worn by attendees. "I'm not bitter!" read the simple rectangular label on the lapels of a couple dozen in the crowd. The campaign says that the stickers are evidence of outrage at the grassroots level.
Yet it's unclear how spontaneous the sentiment was. A boxful of the stickers was spotted at Clinton's first event of the day -- being whisked backstage.
