F&M PA Poll - C46 - O40

Terry Madonna's Franklin and Marshall poll is out tonight and it shows Obama gaining on Clinton since March. He is now down by 6, which is exactly what Quinnipiac has. He trailed by 9 in late March.

From what I understand, the F&M poll is the gold standard for Pennsylvania polling. This confirms that Bittergate has had no negative effect for Obama, and that he has made major gains in the Philly suburbs.  If he really is down 6 at this point - after the media storm over the weekend - then he is in great shape for the final week. As long as the debate goes well, Obama can drive home his campaign in suburban Philly this week and pick up some district delegates where Clinton is somewhat favored.

Either way, this is very encouraging.
