John McCain Vows To Vote Against Equal Pay Amendment

John McCain said yesterday that he opposes the Equal Pay amendment, arguing that it will open up the United States to more lawsuits. Off-camera, I can only assume that his reasoning involves something to do with how it was "In my day."
What's truly ironic about this situation is, and maybe the real rationale is, that his wife is a multimillionaire. He doesn't have to worry about equal pay! In fact, equal pay should benefit HIM! You just know this old geezer hates the fact that "his woman" is the breadwinner. Because, back in Johnny Mac's day, women stayed at home and raised the children... like they's suppost to!

If you need any more proof of why Obama will win in November, you can look only to issues such as this. McCain is no neocon. He's a classical conservative. He's not a continuation of a third Bush term... he's a continuation of a third Herbert Hoover term!
This anti-choice bigot will not break 45% of women. The problem is, however, that the media narrative is giving him a free pass. I talk to women and men who aren't as "politically active (obsessive)" as myself, and they just kinda assume that he's pro-choice. Why? Well, because he's a maverick, of course!
I'm not a woman, so I wouldn't know if this was offensive, so you can battle this out in the comments section... but is this a sexist comment below?
They need the education and training, particularly since more and more women are heads of their households, as much or more than anybody else... And it's hard for them to leave their families when they don't have somebody to take care of them.
Somebody to take care of them? You mean, like a damsel in distress? Like, the way you see women, you old fart?
Don't worry. Probably just another senior moment.
Here's a quote from the Huffpo article from which I got the story:
In recent weeks, McCain has proposed a series of tax breaks for corporations, doubling the dependent child tax exemption, government-backed refinancing for struggling homeowners and a summer holiday from gas taxes. He proposed another new program Wednesday: a tax write-off for companies that provide high-speed Internet access for underserved, low-income communities.
Johnny Mac's solution to everything: cut taxes. Economy in the tank? Cut taxes! Corporate salaries going through the roof? Well, cut their taxes! The sky is the limit, baby! Are you so old that you have ED? Cut taxes! That'll be sure to give ol' Johnny Mac a nice wooden one for his dear Cindy.
