I understand that people like Evan Bayh et al but we can't nominate someone (again) that comes out of the gate with one foot in the trap.
There is a reason why no Senator has beaten an incumbent in over 100 years. Why get ticky-tacked to death on a voting record when you could be debating the issues on which we can win??!?!?
Can we also realize that nominee MUST come from the south and MUST be able to win his home state? We've got to make them at least spend money in the south and take some EV's off the board.
We really only have two options at this point but it is early :
General Wesley K. Clark (D - AR)
Governor Mark Warner (D - VA)
Let's think strategicaly this time.
