Media Bias is running rampant at MSNBClinton

Thu May 01, 2008 at 05:54:36 PM PDT

Let me first start off by saying that I am pissed about the fact that I had to pay almost $75 for gas today.  Running through Hillary & McCentury's ridiculous gas tax-holiday plan in my head, I realized that I would save a total of $3 dollars/week, may $6, depends on how many times I fill up.  And for that, I would have to risk driving on fucked up roads, messing up my tires, or worried that bridges that I am driving on are about to collapse.  But when I got home and turned on MSNBC, I heard none of that, I just heard about Rev. Wright.

I heard Chris Matthews on the Anniversary of "Mission Accomplished" spend an extraordinary amount of time on "Why can't Barack Obama get passed Rev. Wright?"  Maybe because he won't stop talking about it.  But it lead me to realize what I hadn't heard all day on MSNBC.

  1.  I haven't heard about the Pentagon Propaganda Story "Bush administration's use of Pentagon-approved, prepped, and financially-enriched 'military analysts' to appear on TV to help sell the invasion of Iraq, and then put a positive spin on the occupation"
  1.  I haven't heard about Sidney Blumenthal's  email attacks on Barack Obama.

Almost every day for six months, he has sent emails that attack "Obama's character, political views, electability, and real or manufactured associations. The original source of many of these hit pieces are virulent and sometimes extreme right-wing websites, bloggers, and publications."  "A staggering number of the anti-Obama attacks he circulates derive from highly-ideological and militant right-wing sources such as the misnamed Accuracy in Media (AIM), The Weekly Standard, City Journal, The American Conservative, and The National Review."

  1.  I haven't heard about the

McCain - Hezbollah Connection.

Sen. John McCain removed a man from his Michigan Finance Committee today.  Ali Jawad, not only a supporter of Hezbollah but conservative writer Debbie Schlussel claimed he was a "key agent of the terrorist group in the Detroit area." Jawad is quoted saying he "rejects talk that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that should be shunned by the United States and other governments. 'Killing innocent people -- we reject that,' he said. 'Hezbollah does not fit this category. It has protected its people.'"

  1.  I have not heard about Hillary saying "Rich people, God bless us. We deserve all the opportunities to make sure our country and our blessings continue until the next generation."

  1.  I have not heard about North Carolina robocalls  trying to supress African-american turnout in such states as North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and many others.  The calls are coming from WVWV an organization with John Podesta on the board, who is connected to the Clinton campaign

But I guess none of this is important, it is more important that some crazy old preacher said that God was going to Damn America for treating its citizens as less than human.  Silly me.
The thing that cheered me up after paying my $75 for gas was coming on Kos and reading that someone asked John McCain if he called his wife a cunt! Ha link
