I have to admit he did it.

If you had told me a year ago that a 17 year old Honduran American member of the LDS Church with a funny last name would be the oods on favorite to win the seventh season of America Idol, I wouldn't have believed you.  But, it looks like David Archuleta is going to win.

Of course, he ain't won it yet.  The voting's not over.

Just like the voting's not over this primary season.

I just hope David A does as good in the Idol voting as Hillary's done in swing states.

P.S. - Was the un-American and ultimately ineffective sectarian pitch for votes in Kentucky really worth it?
