Here's how f***ing stupid George W. Bush is:

At Memorial Day services for our nation's honored dead, those have have given the last full measure of devotion (a quote from a somewhat superior speech), here's what our Pretzeldent had to say:

"They're an awesome bunch of people and the United States is blessed to have such citizens."

The last occasion upon which Bush was moved to deem something awesome was the Pope's speech [Thank You, Your Holiness. Awesome Speech], altho he may well have used the adjective in describing Jenna's awesome wedding.  I just didn't happen to see it so reported.

Something else of which I was unaware was that the honored dead are still citizens, according to the president's use of the present tense when referring to their awesomenicity. Perhaps the president meant to have had such citizens, but hey, far be it for me to correct our most awesome president.

That provoked a standing ovation from the crowd in a marble amphitheater where Bush spoke. "Whoo-hoo!" shouted one woman, who couldn't contain her enthusiasm

(or stupidity).

I fully realize this is the slimmest of diaries, but the image of the draft-dodging moron, PERSONALLY responsible for 4,000 or so of our honored dead, defiling their memory with his gross stupidity and carelessness drove me to it.
