Obama gets a win and a positive press cycle heading into the most crucial Tuesday of the remaining primaries.  If by some fluke she wins Guam later--oh well.

Exactly right.

Even if 10 "not as spoiled as we thought" Hillary ballots turn up on Wednesday, the pledged delegate split is identical. At best, she'll get the superdelegate who said she'd back the popular vote winner - at the cost of reminding everyone how controversies just seem to burst into flower wherever Bill and Hillary do their thing.

Guam's main value was always enabling the winner to contol the pre-IN/NC media cycle and motivate their forces. Obama is enjoying the sweet taste of that fruit today.

While Hillary is down in the bunker. Flop-sweat staining the arms of her pantsuit. Worried about Bill shooting off his fool mouth again. Snapping at staffers who bring her news of another unpaid vendor hiring a collection agency. Obsessively reviewing spreadsheets of uncommitted superdelegates to see which ones might be successfully intimidated into defying their constituents. Or at least persuaded to keep their mouths shut until June.

If only I can make it to June, she thinks. My overhead will go way down. Then I'll have all summer to work the "MI/FL disenfranchisement" angle. And maybe Wright will erupt again. Something has to happen. I'm Hillary Clinton,  God damn it! If they want to play hardball, I'll bring the Denver convention center down on their fucking heads.
