Ignoring Hillary

So, Hillary isn't dropping out.  

What should we do?

Well, we could continue to engage in Hillary-bashing, endlessly pointing out all her wrong positions, wrong tactics, and confusion about math.  We could do that.  

Or, we could ignore her.  And giggle.

What is the worst thing that can happen to a political campaign?  What's the real sign that the campaign is over?  It's not people fighting with you.  It's not people pointing out where you are wrong.  It's when your name elicits a blank stare, or a giggle.

When someone mentions Hillary, shouldn't our reaction be an offhand "oh? is she still running?"

If we fight her, we descend to her level, and we empower her.  "oooh!" her followers will yell "Obama supporters are doing XXXX"   Then they do XXX and so it goes.  

But if we ignore her?  What are they going to do?  Yell "stop ignoring us!"? Believe me, that will make them look even sillier.  

Hillary..... is she still running?
