McComplaining about the media?!?

Thu May 08, 2008 at 05:37:05 PM PDT

Buried in that response memo from Mark Salter is a most curious argument:

Senator Obama is hopeful that the media will continue to form a protective barrier around him, declaring serious limits to the questions, discussion and debate in this race.

Senator Obama has good reason to think this plan will succeed, as serious journalists have written of the need for ‘de-tox’ to cure ’swooning’ over Senator Obama, and others have admitted to losing their objectivity while with him on the campaign trail.

Kos community, let's all cry a tear over BBQ McCain's bad press coverage.

Boo hoo.

Salter might want to lay off the kool-aid served at those BBQ's.  After the passes McCain has gotten on Hagee, Iseman, Falwell, Keating 5, his interesting marital history, his hypocrisy on lobbyists, etc, these people have a lot of nerve complaining about their press.

In fact, Obama was pretty generous in saying that John McCain has "lost his bearings."

A more accurate description would be that John McCain is purposefully dog whistling to xenophobes because he has no good ideas for the future.

But it looks like Obama's shot across McCain's bow  was heard loud and clear.

And their response was to complain about the media.

Boo hoo.

But with all the dog whistling going on, I think that it is important that this dog's voice be heard:

Indeed, John McCain complaining about the media is like people in Hawaii complaining about the weather.
