Evacuees in New Orleans continue to lose even more as the ban on evictions is lifted and courts empty personal belongings into the streets. Another huge failure demonstrating that the Bush administration could care less about people and more about politics and business as usual.
CNN Headline news reported an ongoing story today showing how individual lives are still being changed by the tragedy of hurrican Katrina. The story can also be read in the NY Times here...
http://www.nytimes.com/.... Personal property is being removed from dwellings and apartments and left on the street for anyone to take as these items are considered abandoned. The pictures of people taking others "abandoned" property demonstrate the ineffectiveness of the state local or federal to truly help those in need whether they be landlords or tenants.
We are governed by an administration that has obviously made sure that their cronies make money at the expense of others, and one that continues to ignore the plight of those that have lost so much in a huge disaster.
