I Miss Having HRC to Kick Around

Yeah yeah, call me a jerk, but I have to admit it is true. Supporting Obama in the primary against Hillary was some of the most fun I've ever enjoyed with politics. I'm a democrat who believes the DLC Clintons and their minions were/are a disgrace to the party. So you can understand how I'd feel being part of the process that humbled the Clintons while elevating a man of Obama's character and grace. There was something cathartic about it.
And now that the primary wars are over, I admit to something of a letdown. Sure, there's Bush / Cheney and the rest of the repugs to call out but really they're a pathetically easy target right now, and frankly the usual partisan grind lacks some of the once-in-a-lifetime historic resonance of the Obama / Clinton primary.
So, yes, I now devote myself fully to supporting Obama for president, and I really have little doubt he will prevail. My gut tells me it will be a landslide. However, As welcome as that will be, it will nonetheless be somewhat anti-climactic after the David vs Goliath triumph of the primary.
