IT ISN'T CALLED "QUITTING"!!!

I'm sorry for a) this short diary, and b) pointing out what should be obvious.
Can we be clear on the emerging storyline from tonight? If I hear one more pundit discuss how she isn't "quitting" I may lose my mind.
Tonight we can all say with a fair degree of certainty that Hillary Clinton LOST the contest for the Democratic Party's nomination for President. If she were to shut down her operations immediately it should not be deemed "quitting" by anyone, it should be viewed as an acknowledgment of that stark reality.
Had she conceded defeat two months ago, one might have called it "quitting" even though the math was nearly impossible for her to overcome back then. However, now there are no more contests, her opponent has racked up a majority of delegates under any remotely-conceivable formula and there is frankly no more race to "quit". It ended, and she lost.
Now her only options are to lose with dignity, or lose without dignity and risk tearing the party apart. I hope to dear God that she chooses the former, but let's just say that her speech tonight did not leave me with the warm and fuzzies.
And with that, I will leave to rewatch Barack's victory speech, and savor this moment one more time.
