Well, I am happy that Prop 98 is not looking good...and Prop 99 is.

Prop 98 for those who do not know would eliminate rent control across California. For those of us who rent in San Francisco, this is a big deal!

Check other results (as of about 10:00 pm) after the fold....

NO 33,430 68.40%

Proposition 99

YES 33,537 69.60%
NO 14,647 30.40%

Measure A

Looks like the developer Lennar bought themselves a project. One that will likely force many out of the Bayshore area...which is what they want of course.

Also, I am happy for Mark Leno:

DEM - STATE SENATOR DISTRICT 03
53/328 16.16%
  Vote Count Percent
CAROLE MIGDEN 6,389 33.63%
MARK LENO 10,278 54.11%
JOE NATION 2,292 12.07%
WRITE-IN 37 0.19%
