Please Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

We turn on our PCs and Macs, hit the Internet Explorer Icon, and go immediately to DailyKos, HuffingtonPost, etc. to catch up on the latest campaign developments, recent polling results, and speculation as to who Barack will choose as his running mate. Some of us even get inspired enough to post a diary and stimulate healthy debate. But as the old saying goes, "Talk Is Cheap."
It’s time to start putting our money where our mouths are, each according to his or her ability. How important is it to you to elect Barack Obama as President of the United States? How important to you is it to end the Republican tyranny, and like a yeast infection, beat it back to the point that it cannot easily return?
These days, money is tight; gasoline and food are increasingly expensive. So it’s understandable that campaign contributions are difficult to come by, especially for those of us with families. Perhaps a small sacrifice each week will result in enough money at the end of the month to make a small donation. Bear in mind that it has been the hundreds-of thousands of small donations that have helped Barack get where he is today.
You can even find out how much your friends and neighbors are donating to the cause by visiting the Federal Election Commission website.
Cough it up!
