Get ready folks. We are going to get the GOP sob story again. The usual rhetoric that Bolton is being mistreated. "It not fair, whaaaaaaa!"
This in from Reuters:

Frist says he'll go for the vote even if he can't break the filibuster so prepare yourselves for the huge GOP baby crying fit about how unfair Dems are.
I saw Rice on CNN saying "John Bolton" deserves and up or down vote." So the right wing continues to couple Bolton to the Judges.
Remember to frame this issue along the lines of this administration being entirely too secretive and treating elected officials like the "Enemy," refusing to share documents that might shed light on Bolton's character and SOP. From Biden:
"The president can probably refuse to give us this information, which we're completely entitled to as the United States Senate, and that's the reason why we're not letting the vote go forward," Biden said."

Yes the president can refuse to give up the documents and if those cherished secrets are so dear then let Bolton go down in flames because of Bush's failure to release those documents to elected officials who are entitled to all available info.
Of course in a heated argument with any wingnut this weekend just use the line,"what are they (GOP) hiding."
Sometimes you just have to simplify it that much for them.
