Update by georgia10:  I suspect the reaction here in the Big Tent is similar to the reaction in your living rooms or at the watch parties you're at.  Cheers, clapping, and an overwhelming sense of relief that, yes folks, this is the Obama we've been waiting for.

Update by georgia10: What I especially like about this speech is that it's a defense of liberalism, a full-throated rebuttal to the notion that government is bad and irreparably broken. The speech itself is stunning in how it wraps policy details around piercing rhetoric.

Update by georgia10:  Energy independence in 10 years. He just endorsed Al Gore's plan.  "Drilling is a stop gap measure, not a long term solution."  More like this, please.
