I write this at about 7:40 a.m. Central, on Tuesday, June 21 (happy summer). This just up on Yahoo's front page (excerpt):
U.S. Said Delaying Saddam Interrogations
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Iraqi's justice minister said Tuesday that U.S. officials are trying to delay interrogations of Saddam Hussein.
Justice Minister Abdel Hussein Shandal, in Brussels for an international conference on
Iraq, also accused the U.S. of concealing information about the ousted Iraqi leader.
"It seems there are lots of secrets they want to hide," he told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview.
Shandal also said Saddam's trial would be over by the end of the year.
The whole thing here:

Surprise, surprise: Admin people want to gag Saddam, lest he say something that (cough, cough) "could interfere with the constitution writing process." Oh give us all a break! Saddam's tongue unleashed could bring untold embarrassment to Bush and his father's and Reagan's Admins.
Will someone please post that photo of Rumsfeld shaking Saddam's hand? /THAT'S/ what Bush & Co. doesn't want Saddam talking about!
