Well, I'm heading to the airport soon. I'm not sure if Des Moines is WiFi (somebody told me they think it is), but if it is I'll try to post once more before getting on a noon CST flight back to DC.
I know I have several loose ends, especially about what happened in Precinct 63 and, especially, to John. I promise to take care of all of that, plus tell you about something I heard last night at 2 a.m. walking out of the Hotel Fort Des Moines about the stealth field campaign that Michael Whouley put together -- because that will go down as a major part of the real backstory for Iowa '04.
Before leaving, I must say this was a humbling experience -- from what I learned and saw, from how hard it is to predict these things, and from the gracious and thoughtful comments from Kossacks, many of whom took time to drop me a special note of thanks by email.
I'm also grateful to Markos for the opportunity.
I'm thinking about going to New Hampshire. Would readers be supportive of that notion?
