What a week, sports fans.

Tuesday saw Republicans take back control of the House New Jersey and Senate Virginia Governorships. And although Democrats won the NY-23 special election, it was still a huge win for conservatives.

Then came Thursday. Thursday was the Super Bowl of Freedom. Somewhere between four thousand and one million teabaggers dissented on DC in a shocking victory for the 1st Amendment.

And yet just a few hours ago, in the Hyper Bowl, socialism prevailed.

Elsewhere...

After hearing Dick Cheney criticize President Obama, Rep. Joe Wilson, the distinguished gentleman from South Carolina, found himself in an unfamiliar place — a dictionary.

"You know, I’m really disappointed, and I actually agree with Vice President Cheney that the President is dithering. And I actually had to look up what 'dithering' meant, and it’s 'indecisive.' And that’s what the President is being."

In related news, Michael Steele probably should've taken his message to an urban-suburban hip-hop setting before triumphantly declaring that the Republican party is "transcendent." I do not think that word means what he thinks it means.

Meanwhile...

"Sesame Street" celebrated its 40th year of communist indoctrination, and POX News' viewers were none too pleased.

If Mom and Dad watch cable news, it’s better than 50/50 they watch "POX News." So what gives? PBS — a network partially funded with my tax dollars — has the right to tell my kids that their parents watch "trashy" news? The message is clear, I can’t even sit my kids in front of "Sesame Street" without having to worry about the Left attempting to undermine my authority. [...]

POX News' talent was equally unpleased.

...

Won't somebody please think of the children!
