KY-Sen: Ain't Nobody Makes Me Kiss And Make Up

Jim Bunning won't roll over for anybody, least of all a young punk like NRSC chairman John Cornyn, or anyone else in Republican leadership for that matter.
He has this Senate seat, and it's freakin' golden, and you don't just give that up for nothing, after all!
So Bunning has been lashing out at Cornyn in the press and elsewhere for weeks, over Cornyn's rather obvious (if unstated) desire to see Crazy Jim disappear into the mist.
In fact, at one point, Bunning threatened to sue Cornyn and the NRSC if they backed any other candidate, proving once again that complete and utter ignorance on legal matters is no obstacle to becoming a lawmaker.
So is Bunning interested in repairing his relationship with the man who controls Republican Senatorial purse strings, and could potentially starve the weak-raising Bunning to death in his reelection bid?
Asked how he could repair his relationship with Cornyn, who decides where the committee spends its millions in Senate races, Bunning responded: "Why do I have to fix it? The NRSC never helped me last time. So why should they help me this time?"
Yeah, to hell with the NRSC! To hell with Cornyn! 2004 proved Jim Bunning can run a disastrous campaign without anybody's help!
As for his potential primary opponent...well, screw him too! Screw everyone!
"I've got other things to do, so you take care of David Williams," Bunning told reporters. "I thought he had a legislative agenda to take care of. Isn't the legislature in session in Kentucky?"
Bunning also said his relationship with Williams was "very good." But in the next breath, he added: "In fact, he owes me $30,000, and he said he would repay me."
I hate you! I hate you too! I hate everyone!
