Operation Rescue has long maintained Tiller Watch, a section of their website devoted to keeping tabs on Dr. George Tiller, the abortion provider who was murdered today in Wichita. Shortly after the news of the murder was announced - and I mean within minutes - the link from Google to Tiller Watch returned a Forbidden 403 error. Other links referencing Tiller but not in the Tiller Watch directory also returned the 403 error. The front page of the site was still active but there were no links to anything about Tiller other than the statement on the front page regarding the murder. Thanks to Google cache, though, what Operation Rescue is trying to keep you from reading is still available.
The last cache was dated May 27, but the last update was April 28, the day Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius was confirmed as HHS Secretary. Much of Tiller Watch is devoted to linking Sebelius to Tiller:

Unfortunately, I have been unable to access the comments. I find it odd that there have been no updates to Tiller Watch since April 28. In summary, Operation Rescue tried to blackmail Roberts and Brownback, and Sebelius is "radical", "Mengel-esque" [sic] and a liar.
Since most of these posts were also press releases, many of the articles are still widely available on other websites. Here is some of the inflammatory rhetoric:
"We are again calling on men and women of faith to come to Wichita to pray for this historic trial," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "This is the moment we have been praying for and working toward. We need to press in and fervently pray for justice, because if that prayer is answered, the lives of countless innocent babies will be spared. This case is literally one that will decide life or death for thousands of children."
...
"We urge pro-lifers to make every effort to be at those prayer rallies," said Newman. "Now is the time to press in with prayer and ask God to finish the work He started and bring a final end to Tiller's horrific abortion business."
Tiller was acquitted in that trial. Since God didn't "finish the work He started" did the suspected killer decide it was his duty to give God a hand?
"This video shows the need to convict Tiller and get him out of business. He and his staff present an extreme danger to the public," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman who photographed the ambulance at the hospital emergency room. "We urge Christians everywhere to join us in praying that Tiller will be convicted and his abortion mill will be permanently closed."
Tiller was "an extreme danger to the public", according to Newman. Once again, a deranged follower of Newman might think he is a hero protecting the "public" by committing murder. I hope that Sebelius, and also Roberts and Brownback, are given additional protection immediately.
If Troy Newman hasn't been inciting his followers, why is he scrubbing his website?
