It should be obvious to all with half a brain by now- Bush and Rover are trying to pull a "Gray Davis" by picking their opponent (Gray Davis played dirty tricks to make sure he could run against anybody but Riordan- who woulda kicked his ass).
Let's put the pieces together:
- Anybody who thinks they want to run against Dean is delusional. The media has done everything in their power to savage the guy- while leaving Kerry relatively untouched.
- Seeing Dean will have 1) money and 2) balls, they made sure he was wounded. This also has the impact of:
- Getting rid of Clark. Clark needed a two man race. And we know they definately don't want to run against Clark. So...
- They (the media, etc.) are doing everything they can to boost Kerry (see the ridiculous CNN polls).
Why Kerry?
Between Dean, Clark, Edwards and Kerry who do you want to run against?
Dean-- too big a risk, too much money, he could tell the truth about Bush and it could bite Bush in the ass, especially in the debates.
Clark-- no way, Jose (Jose is a guest-pronoun).
Edwards-- Bush has to win NC. The trial lawyer bit is tempting, but too risky.
That leaves:
Kerry--
*Voted against defense of marriage.
*Dukakis' furlough-handing-out Lt. Governor.
*Ted Kennedy's Best Friend.
*True elitist who married the wife of a friend after the friend dies a horrible death.
*Jane Fonda lovin war protester (despite record).
*Least likely to mess with NAFTA, Media Regulation (when did Dean start getting hammered? When he said he would reregulate big media!)
All in all, he's Rove's guy. Who has the most in common with George McGovern and Walter Mondale? Not Howard Dean... let's see... Liberal, sitting Senator with a war record... hmmmm... KERRY!
A vote for Kerry is a vote for Bush. You Kerry people please convince me how Kerry is gonna beat Bush this fall.
