A new poll came out yesterday showing the Virginia Governors race has tightened up a little.
SurveyUSA, has Kaine now up to 40% while Kilgore slips to 44%. There is a 4.2 margin of error with 575 registered voters. The question was: Who would you vote for between Kilgore, Kaine, and the independant Potts?
It's still pretty early, and Virginia is still pretty red; but it's good to see Kaine starting to rise up a bit in the polls. Kaine is now in TV commercial mode, and these numbers might indicate that he is getting to be better known by the electorate. Or, these latest numbers could just be a reflection of the nation wide voter turn-off of the Republican Party that seems to be gaining momentum. Either way, it's good news.
