Is a candidate defined by those who endorse him? This might be the case with Wesley Clark.
According to the Washington Post, Clark was endorsed by Rep. Martin Frost(D-Texas.) As you may remember, Martin Frost ran against Nancy Pelosi for House Majority Leader and thought that her leadership would take the party too much to the left. His choice to support Clark implies that Frost finds Clark to be closer to his conservative political views than the other viable candidates. (Note: Unlike TNR, he probably does not view Lieberman as a viable candidate.) Is Frost right in thinking that Clark is not as liberal as Dean, Gephardt, Kerry, and Edwards?
