I pledge to vote whichever way this poll goes.
As every progressive Mainah knows, we are facing an electoral nightmare...
For those of you who aren't up to speed, Paul LePage is a whackjob Tea Party favorite currently polling at about 39%. Libby Mitchell is a longtime Democratic state legislator who won the primary and is currently polling around 23%. Finally, Eliot Cutler is a moderate independent polling at about 26%. Cutler was in the teens about a month ago, and has been moving up steadily since (mostly at the expense of Mitchell) - As between the two non-whackjob candidates, Cutler seems to have the most momentum.
(I know these are HUGE, unsupported generalization, but work with me here folks).
This is my first election in Maine since leaving after high school, and this gubernatorial campaign has shown me that Maine is ripe for a switch to a runoff system... but for the time being, I'm asking for help in choosing who gets my vote.
This poll is open to Maine registered voters ONLY!!!! I don't care if I only get a couple of votes, or no votes at all, No Freakin' Outastatahs!!!
Update - No looking at the comments before you vote!!!
