Over at the
NYT we have a interesting story about the attitudes of American voters in the wake of GWB's reelection. The gist of the story is that people don't like Bush's policies and yet... They still voted for him. WTF? In the wake of the undecided voter story over at TNR I am totally confused about what motivates the American electorate. Does this mean that we need to have an affable good ol' boy backslapper of a candidate, no matter how vacuous?
