President Bush was in Charleston, WV this week for a fundraiser for Rep. Shelly Moore-Capito at a private residence. On his way to or from the fundraiser, he stopped at a child's lemonade stand and bought a cup of lemonade. The controversy around the stop was whether he drank the stuff or not. An amusing story on this by Charleston Gazette reporter Dave Gustafson was in today's edition. The best line is the last one:
"President Bill Clinton famously said he didn't inhale, but the White House did not respond to a query about whether Bush swallowed."
