The Necessary Ticket

Obama for President, Clinton for Vice President.
If you took historically, tickets involving both rivals portend well for either party, Democrat or Republican. A ticket featuring those two in that order would heal the divisive rifts within the Democratic party, while accentuating and muted each candidate's strengths and weaknesses respectively.
Hey, Red State Super Delegates. Wake Up!

The Republican revolution did not happen in one election cycle. It took a long range strategy and investment in states where they were the minority party for generations to build the organization and electoral coalition that captured the Presidency and the Congress.
When Howard Dean took over at the DNC and began making good on his promise of a 50 state strategy he was ridiculed by DLC stalwarts and Clinton insiders like Bergala and Carville for wasting money and resources in states that 'don't count'. Obama has taken Deans 50 state strategy and made it a reality fighting for every vote in every state and building a powerful and effective ground organization in red states as well as blue. If Clinton wins this nomination you can kiss Howard Dean and the 50 state strategy good bye.
What does it mean for red state governors, congressmen, local state elected officials and the local party organizations?

Measuring Size of Obama’s (Relative) Coattails on Congressional Races
This is a long diary to read so I will tell you upfront what my conclusion is after examining the recent SurveyUSA 50-state polling: Yes, Barack Obama may indeed have huge coattails for Senate and Congressional races in the fall. Now, to the long explanation --
The recent SurveyUSA polling indicated a relatively even match between Obama and Clinton re. who would have the most electoral votes when facing McCain. Obama’s total came to 280 EV, while Hillary’s was 276 EV – a seemingly even match:

Who is stealing the 50 state Strategy?

I hope someone here will look into this to see if it would help in the 2008 elections. Or maybe it is some kind of attempt to copy dkos for the right. I don't know, but maybe someone of you can judge the possible value of the program.
