Wolf Blitzer and I have a date next Monday
Mon Mar 10, 2008 at 03:16:39 PM PDT
I am not a big fan of Wolf Blitzer, but I can take him or leave him. So why would I make such an audacious statement?
Well, I can not bring myself to listen to Catfish Face (Brit Hume) on Fox, and Tucker Carlson revolts me. More below the fold:
David Gregory Replaces Tucker
Mon Mar 10, 2008 at 11:07:30 AM PDT
MSNBC said this afternoon that it was canceling "Tucker," the low-rated, early evening program led by Tucker Carlson, and replacing it with a new, politically oriented program featuring David Gregory, chief White House correspondent of NBC News.
Mr. Gregory, whose program will be shown weeknights beginning at 6 p.m., will continue to cover the White House for NBC News, the parent of MSNBC, the cable channel said. Mr. Carlson will also remain with MSNBC, as a campaign correspondent who will cover the presidential race from Washington and the road.
MSNBC also said that Andrea Mitchell, a veteran political correspondent for both the cable channel and NBC News, would lead another new campaign-oriented program, this one to be shown beginning at 1 p.m. weekdays. The channel currently shows regular news programming at that time.

Applause, Please.

I'm serious. Before I get into it, let me say - if you don't know me (I've had almost zero time to write the past six months), I'll introduce myself. I'm RenaRF, and I first came to Daily Kos immediately following the 2004 Presidential election. If you're doing the math, that means I've been here in varying active capacities for three years. I would like to think that I would not be categorized as a Markos fawner. I don't crawl up his ass, and I frankly don't agree with him on a variety of different things.
Last night Markos was a panelist on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher. I watched the whole show, and I'm telling you - every member of this community should give him a round of applause. More over the fold.
Give Alison Stewart Some Love
Tue Apr 24, 2007 at 11:35:09 AM PDT
For those of you that missed Countdown last night - shame on you! But honestly, you missed a great show from Alison Stewart who was filling in for Keith.
Alison Stewart recently lost her show "The Most" for really no reason. She is being "reassigned" to other roles at MSNBC.
Well I think that many of us could send a message to those in power at MSNBC that Alison should be given something more important - like her own primetime show.
memo to msnbc: move alison stewart to primetime
Thu Apr 12, 2007 at 09:52:43 AM PDT
alison stewart is good enough, smart enough & doggone it, she is smoking hot! please give her tucker carlson's slot. move that whining, shrill squeaker to early mornings where i won't have to listen to him. or give her joe scarborough's spots. that pious hypocrite, who has been after rosie o'donnell's job, but can't figure out why imus can't say the same things on air that 50 cent puts on his records, can take his culture warrior, faux outrage schtick to the mornings. hey & why not make it "scarborough/buchanan country" while you're at it. you might be able to convince tucker or joe that the move to imus' space is a promotion.
