For at least four years, Christopher J. Ward, who is under investigation by the FBI, used wire transfers to funnel money out of the NRCC and into other political committees he controlled, then shifted the funds into his own personal accounts

Thats right- our big Democratic Party Scandals concern people who pay their own money for prostitutes, pay them a living wage and then have the good sense to be embarassed about their sexual habits and try and take the business out of town.
WINDOWS XP SECURITY EMERGENCY - WMF FLAW (UPDATE)
Tue Jan 03, 2006 at 09:20:38 AM PDT
Although many Kossacks may not consider this to be an appropriate forum for such news, this problem is certain to affect about 80% of us and it is a
very serious problem that affected users must deal with
right now.
Please pay attention to this. It may help to save you from a lot of computer grief. Also, please RECOMMEND so that this stays up for more than a few minutes. I will attempt to UPDATE as new information becomes available. Also, please be aware that if your Internet connection seems slow today, it's likely a measure of how much traffic is being generated by the explosion of compromised, virus-laden WMF files that are being released onto the network by virus writers and further propagated by already infected systems. Yes, it's that bad.

this article published at Yahoo News, the Sober worm is "strongly correlated to Neo Nazi right-wing agendas", to use the words of the security expert in the interview. A new strain of the virus is going to be released on January 6.
FBI warns of new e-mail worm/hoax

This is obnoxious. And just so you know, before dismissing this, I am not fooled by phony warning. I know to always check Snopes.com before passing along any new alarming warning. I also know not to open a .zip file, but a lot of people new to computers don't.
