Forgive me for the short, non-political diary, but I'm sure there are Kossacks, who knew and will miss Dan Fogelberg.  Dan who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2004, died Sunday. He was 56. Dan was a great wordsmith and composed some of the most beautiful songs of my generation. As a twenty something, I played his albums over and over.  His music has always been on my playlist.

Legendary singer and songwriter, Dan Fogelberg, passed away in his Maine home today at the age of 56 following his heroic battle against prostate cancer. Dan is survived by his wife, Jean..  Anna Loynes of the Solters & Digney public relations agency announced Dan’s passing today and it was posted on his website.
