So, Netroots Nation Is Coming to Texas--Why didn't you tell me?

Interesting, just read that July will see the likes of the most progressive folks on the planet. Hope you like it hot because my first visit to Texas in fact was to Austin to see my Guru back in 1993. And guess what? I ended up moving here. Look out you just might like Texas. My real reason for writing is that I want to ensure that you have some diverse folks on your panels.

Is Obama Listening With Those Big Ears?

I started reading some of his positions after writing some popular early articles such as "The Obama Drama Meter" and "Don't Hold Bated Breath For Obama," about him. At that time, not sure now, it was an interactive thing on his Web site where you could write and/or give suggestions. In fact they were asking for suggestions--get that. So I took him up on it and wrote about his early position on increasing military funding.
