Let's name the DNC/Obama Fundraiser

Fri Apr 25, 2008 at 08:54:56 AM PDT

Apparently Howard and Obama are about to come to terms on a joint fundraising plan, similar to the one McCain came up in concert with the RNC, according to this article in Time.
Negotiations with Hillary don't seem to be progressing.

This joint fundraising allows large donors to give more to the DNC. The end of the article says they are still trying to decide on a name for this joint venture. Maybe, we can help them.

McCain has named his Victory.

I know we can do better.

Breaking News:Right to vote for Michiganders to be restored!

Thu Feb 07, 2008 at 06:31:12 AM PDT

As most of you know since this controversy has been discussed in painful detail on by Kossacks from Michigan on DKos, Michigan Dems for all practical purposes lost their right to vote to have their say in the nomination of the Democratic Presidential nominees because our state leaders thought it was time that our states economic problems be center stage in this election even if that means destroying the foundation that our nominating process has been built on.  The DNC didn't like that thus they gave us the death penalty of voiding our primary resulting in all the candidates BUT Hillary, Gravel, Kucinich, and the greatest of all progressive, liberal DEMs who is the answer to all our problems and the true agent of change: "UNCOMMITTED".

UPDATE:

What could be interesting is that this could be an issue in the 9th congressional district between Gary Peters and Nancy Skinner.  If this happens, they will have to pick sides.  Will they pick the same side or different sides?  That could instantly trump all other issues in that primary.

Ear Picking, and Eating - The Way to Win!

Sun Oct 28, 2007 at 09:16:28 PM PDT

For the news services around the world, the biggest story to come out of the so far 2 week election campaign in Australia is Labor’s Leader Kevin Rudd picking his ear wax, and eating it, prompting a nasty editorial in the Washington Post, wondering if Rudd really is PM material, it’s a you tube video from 6 years ago by the way. And the Religious Right Family First Candidate, who had no hope of winning the house seat of Reid in mid-western suburbs of Sydney, caught showing his privates on the net. Neither story have dominated the headlines in Australia, not saying bizarre politics haven’t been news in Australia
