Seeing SusanG's diary made me realize we in the Virginia blogosphere have been all over this story for a while now. The Virginia Democratic Party, under their Communications Director, have been publishing videos of Delegates in committee and subcommittee, ostensibly to record votes that would not otherwise be counted.

A Case Study of Right-wing Politician Grooming at the Local Level.

Despite his busy schedule this year, Tom Delay found time to host a fundraiser in Washington, D.C. for Republican Virginia Delegate Jeff Frederick.  Estimated take 10k.

Jeff Frederick was supported by Grover Norquist and other Republican extremists when he defeated a Republican moderate and ally of Governor Mark Warner two years ago.  Frederick was only 28 and had lived in the district about two years.

Despite his youth, Jeff Frederick has been able to amass a client list for his web-conulting firm that is right out of tin-foil hat land:  60 Plus, Free Congress Foundation, Frontiers of Freedom Institute, Illinois Family Institute, Media Research Center, Personal Retirement Alliance, Texas Christian Coalition among others.  These clients have helped make him a wealthy man at age 30.
