I have heard a lot of hateful speech in my day. Being a lesbian, I've seen and heard things that would make a sailor pass out. However, Michael Reagan, the son of the former President has made one of the most outlandish, disgusting statements I have ever...and I mean...EVER heard.

I called in to Mike Malloy's show yesterday. I wanted to make a point for those Hillary supporters who seem to be angry at Obama.

Malloy was fair but cut my rambling short, I believe he thought I was too left wing for his taste or something...I just cited a simple USDOJ stat...you decide ;)

I'm usual not in my car when Malloy's show is on Sirius Left at night so I rarely listen to him.  But Thursday I happened to jump in my car for a 10 minute drive home and I turned on TalkLeft just as his show was starting.  I ended up sitting outside of my building and listening for an hour an half to the entire debate breakdown.

In light of the comments I would like to update this with a crucial piece of the puzzle:  Larry Johnson (CIA) a well known Clinton surrogate took credit for this on his blog.  So Randi is very moderate when she talks about this aspect.  Go to the blog and decide it for yourself.  Larry was the person who leaked the tape and now he's planning to plant Taylor Marsh, a Hillary shill in place of Randi.

I thought I heard Howard Dean this evening saying that a frontrunner must be decided via this primary, that it was not possible for this neck-and-neck 'race' to be carried to the summer convention for resolution because if that happened there wouldn't be enough time till Election Day for the chosen candidate to campaign competitively.

This is a letter written by Clint Gold to the Tulsa World Oklahoma newspaper and read by Mike Malloy radio talk-show host.

I can no longer live with the constant unrelenting rage and righteous indignation inspired by watching the freedoms of my friends, family, and self being devoured by a growing totalitarian administration.  I have not been silent nor have many of my fellow Americans, but the darkness still closes around us as we scream at it.    We have stood our ground upon our soapboxes and still our freedoms flee.

A story reported locally here in the Seattle area just struck me as bizarre an indictment of the failure of whatever the 'plan of the month' is in Iraq.  Can it be that we have so many dying so fast that we can't bury them individually but have to combine their funerals?

GA-10 Democratic Congressional Candidate James Marlow Mixes with Atlanta Kossacks at First ATLKos Event

Manuel's Tavern in Virginia Highlands was the scene last night as 42 (counting those who had to leave early and others who came late) passionately progressive Kossacks enjoyed the first-ever ATLKos event. Highlighting the event was James Marlow, GA-10 Congressional candidate and renowned talk show host Mike Malloy. Prominent local bloggers Catherine Smith of Blog for Democracy and Jon Flack (flackattack) of Tondee's Tavern joined the group. Well-known Pro-Choice advocate Ann Rose MC'd the event. Netroots favorite and Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries Ron Sparks, potential challenger to Jeff Sessions, spoke to the crowd by phone hookup.

I haven't been very happy with Air America Radio for the past year or so... They fired my favorite broadcasters (Mark Maron, Mike Malloy)... Al Franken left to run for Senate in Minnesota... then, when it looked like new ownership would turn the liberal network around, they took Sam Seder off his daily show and replaced him with a boring sycophant named Lionel.

An announcement from Clear Channel's Los Angeles Air America affiliate unveils an unimpressive new line-up for the station. I can't say that I'm particularly upset about most of the cancellations, but the additions are atrocious.

Gone from the schedule are Mark Riley's "Politically Direct," Lionel, "Harrison on the Edge," and "The Young Turks." The only one I might miss would be the Turks. What's truly unsettling, though, is the new schedule that KTLK 's program director, Don Martin, says is intended to be more "live and local." If that's his intention, he's failed miserably.

I'm listening to Mike Malloy's show right now on Novamradio as he tries to publicize the need to help rebuild the Gulf region.

16 months later, and still people do not have places to live.

They are calling on truckers to donate space to transport furniture, appliances, simple tools, windows, door frames any thing to help build houses. These are the things that are STILL needed in the Gulf.

Still.  We can rant about the Bush administration all we want, but it won't help these people rebuild their communities.

Unforunately it is not Air America where he belongs. But this is not about Mike, despite his excellent arguments for impeachment that was delved in depth yesterday (11/14/07). I was scrolling down, and I saw a familiar clip. A clip that anyone could have made, but Mike Malloy did it well. To quote him, "When you hear the lies, the lies chunked together, about the Weapons of Mass Destruction, it's just overwhelming."

PLEASE, take 8 minutes of your day, and listen to it. (I think I am going to plop a copy on my server to host it myself to not bog down White Rose Society's servers. short version.)
