John Edwards Endorsement Revealed! (clip)
Fri May 09, 2008 at 07:51:00 AM PDT
This morning former candidate John Edwards made his endorsement all but official. He admitted during questioning that he will be endorsing the candidate that he voted for in the Carolina primary.
When speaking about the person he voted for, he gives away their gender - pretty much sealing the deal:

I Do Believe Hell Has Frozen Over. Morning Joe Praising Obama.
Wed Apr 30, 2008 at 03:23:57 AM PDT
It's true, folks. I just had to see how he would react now that Obama has answered the question Joe has been asking 24/7 for the past two months. What to my wondering ears should appear, but Joe Scarborough actually uttering approving words about Barack Hussein Obama.
Matthews & Buchanan: Barack Obama Is "Faculty Lounge", Imply He's An Elitist
Wed Apr 23, 2008 at 01:15:07 PM PDT
After he dismissed charges yesterday that John McCain has a temper, Chris Matthews today had no problems with Pat Buchanan implying that Obama was an elitist.
Pat Buchanan says that Barack Obama's problem is that HE IS University of Chicago and that in fact he is "Faculty Lounge". Chris Matthews just laughs and says he thinks "that is the problem". So apparently it's OK to consistently imply character flaws with Democrats but its not OK to suggest that someone who got in an actual fight has a temper?
Maybe I'm overreacting. But if I didn't know any better it seems like the candidate getting the free pass isn't Obama, it's McCain.
An open letter to MSNBC

One word... Zogby,
Can we stop acting like Hillary will score a massive blowout in Pennsylvania? In a poll released this morning Hillary Clinton's lead in Pennsylvania was reduced to one percent, 45-44. This poll was conducted from the 14th through the 16th, and as such does not reflect the effect last night's debate may have. Why is this not in the news, regardless of how important Barack Obama's bitter comment is. Let's not forget that people by a 2:1 margin said it wasn't an issue. Tonight David Gregory's round table basically agreed, all except Rachel Maddow, that it was an issue as was Barack's patriotism. This is getting ridiculous, and I may have to limit my MSNBC viewing to KO from now on.
Now that Rachel brought up John McCain's campaign Co-Chair in Florida getting caught soliciting a police officer in a bathroom in Florida, can we ask him why he associates with people who solicit prostitutes, regardless of gender, in public bathrooms. How can Joe say that he won't engage in a debate with her about a candidates acquaintances? Before she brought this up he was assailing Barack's character in the exact same way.

Joe Scarborough is a tool and a hack
Fri Apr 11, 2008 at 06:48:48 AM PDT
Not that we didn't know that already, but on today's Morning Joe he dropped a gem of a quote that nearly made my head pop for it's idiocy. I've never liked him, but I didn't realize he was this stupid. Below the fold.
Hey, Hillary: Even My Eight-Year-Old Gets It!
Fri Apr 04, 2008 at 11:14:51 AM PDT
Woke up early this morning in the middle of a driving Texas hailstorm and flipped on the TV to see if things were better in other parts of the world. Still haven't broken the habit of tuning in Morning Joe yet, although I AM working on it....
Flipped on MSNBC and, as I took my first slug of coffee, was treated to footage of Hillary on Leno, yukking it up over her lies about Bosnian sniper fire.
I snarled so loud in response that I woke the small person up -- and, after some snuggling that lasted until the next time they rolled the tape, my eight-year-old, Sadie, had some choice observations for Hills:
[Updated x2] Joe Scarborough is an Idiot
Mon Mar 31, 2008 at 03:22:04 AM PDT
Joe Scarborough just displayed a dazzling display of utter bullshit on Morning Joe.
Jeffrey Sachs on Morning Joe...me, yelling at the TV
Wed Mar 26, 2008 at 08:13:29 AM PDT
I usually avoid "Morning Joe" on MSNBC. I almost always find it horribly annoying, especially Joe Scarborough. On occasion his co-host Mika Brzezinski makes some good points. And unlike Joe she doesn’t make my ears bleed.
This morning, however, there was a momentary glitch in the toxic "Morning Joe" formula. A glitch in the good sense of the term, that is. So I decided to watch...
Video: Chris Matthews Says Clintons Want McCain To Win
Wed Mar 26, 2008 at 07:47:28 AM PDT
Chris Matthews claims that the Clintons would rather see John McCain win the Presidency than have Barack Obama and the Democrats prevail in 2008. He actually makes a pretty compelling case based on the way the Clintons are acting.

The good news is they've mentioned Bosnia.
Morning Joe's MSNBC comments on Obama's speech
Wed Mar 19, 2008 at 05:35:47 AM PDT
I'm up in the morning and listening to Morning Joe's show and boy was I in for a disappointment. The discussion was about Senator Obama's yesterday's speech and about Rev. Wright.
Joe Scarborough, Tucker Carlson were on the show together with Mika Brzezinski. Mika was intellectually head and shoulder above these two. From what I have seen on this episode I think it should be her show.

McCain's Campaign Manager says Obama Shouldn't Be Held Accountable for His Pastor's Remarks
Fri Mar 14, 2008 at 05:04:43 AM PDT
McCain's Campaign Manager essentially says the brouhaha over Obama's Pastor is no big deal.
Thanks for nothing, Ms. Ferraro & Clinton
Thu Mar 13, 2008 at 05:16:38 AM PDT
Watching Joe Scarborough this morning, I felt my head explode. Forget the ludicrous concept of an avowed Republican and white male telling me, a white lifelong Progressive feminist over 50 how "angry" I am with Barack Obama for playing the race card against Hillary Clinton. That was like Archie Bunker telling Edith how to put on a bra. What really got me was how both Joe and his hideous guest and fellow white southern male, Craig Crawford, felt so noble defending that "icon" Geraldine Ferraro against the "race card" being played by Barack Obama! Yes, Hillary, they bought your campaign spin lock, stock and barrel.
