Obama used to age discrimination
Sat May 17, 2008 at 06:52:36 AM PDT
It is a planned part of the assault on McCain to stress his age, as if someone in his seventies cannot run the country. Conveniently overlooked is Reagan, but we know that Obama fancies himself to be in the mold of Reagan. So who cares that Reagan was in his late seventies when he left office and that nothing was made of age?
We have a war hero here who was abused as a prisoner for five years, and we have no idea what his problems happen to be. We know McCain had cancer. So what if it were skin cancer. Such cancer generally is a sign of age. And age and experience is what we have run against in the primaries and those so-called caucuses and are still running against.
Clinton PLEASE Go Independent and Save This Country!

I'd really like to see HRC not give up so quickly. Quite possibly yes she is done in the Democratic selection process but there's no reason she couldn't run as an independent. It's already well known that she could beat McCain in November if it was head-to-head. Now that that's probably not going to happen, it's time to consider another strategy.

Kentucky is on its own for health care fix
Tue May 06, 2008 at 09:29:59 PM PDT
The U.S. is still too divided to agree to real healthcare reform. For Kentuckians to improve their health coverage options, they are going to have to do it on their own.
Updated: OK Boomers Which is It?
Mon May 05, 2008 at 01:45:19 PM PDT
'Make love not war' or 'Fight Club'.
Many boomers in that I know are confused at why a solid gen Xer like myself is so anti-Clinton. There are lots and lots of reasons, lots and lots of them. Too many to enumerate in a quick lunchtime blog entry that is for sure.
At a core level it is distrust of you, the Boomer generation.
Ayers Flag gaffe
Mon May 05, 2008 at 09:48:15 AM PDT
Is this yet another headache for Obama?
Remember, Obama has called William Ayers a "mainstream Liberal Chicago Politician" and said that Ayers bombing days are far behind him.
Well, now we see that in 2001, the exact same year Obama took a campaign donation from Ayers and served with him on the Woods foundation, Ayers was doing pictorials of himself stomping on the American Flag.
Was Obama Behind Fake Kantor Video?
Fri May 02, 2008 at 09:47:33 AM PDT
There has been a lot of interest in a video claiming that an advisor to the Clinton/Gore campaign in 1992 was caught on film spouting crude expletives about white voters in the state of Indiana. It seems clear that one person who would greatly benefit from this type of smear campaign would be Barack Obama. It makes me wonder whether his campaign was the actual source of the fixed video, which has been confirmed as fake?
For as much as Obama and his supporters have been criticizing the "politics of destruction" and "guilt by association" politics, it is shocking and disgusting at what lengths both him and his supporters will go to destroy both Hillary and Bill Clinton. Regardless of who you support in this election, Hillary and Bill are both avid supporters of the Democratic Party and have been strong advocates for many of the causes for which we continue to fight. To see them torn down daily in these forums is completely antithetical to who we are as Democrats and it needs to stop. Advocating for issues is one thing (if you don't agree with Universal Healthcare, fine, post about it), but tearing them down as if they aren't true Democrats and trying to destroy their character day after day is really disheartening.
Portrait of a Shyster

The following article by Adolph Reed in the May issue of The Progressive paints a pretty complete picture of the ongoing con game that has successfully divided Democrats and convinced many of the inevitability that the candidate least likely to win is most likely to be nominated.

Paul v Clinton - no Hillary depo until after the election
Tue Apr 29, 2008 at 01:44:01 PM PDT
On April 25, 2008, Los Angeles Superior Court judge Aurelio Munoz, without such request from Hillary Clinton's counsel, David Kendall, ruled that Hillary cannot be deposed in Paul v Clinton until after the election.
Why did Munoz issue that ruling? Because he could. Just as Disney brass has refused to release THE PATH TO 9/11 on DVD, Munoz made a political decision. Both of those decisions were designed to protect the junior senator from New York.
The only statement Hillary has ever had to make regarding this case and her role in the Hollywood Gala was in the form of her sworn declaration, presented to the court on April 6, 2006. Other than Brian Ross, who did a 20/20 piece in July 2001, no reporter has ever asked Hillary about the largest contribution ever to a federal campaign.

The next stop on the Reverend Jeremiah Wright's media tour should definitely be the Don Imus Show.
Bo "Bull Conner" Dietl could handle security, his matchbook-sized, diamond-studded, flag lapel pin shining radiantly.
John McCain could call in.
And I'm sure they'll have a fresh supply of n****r jokes ready. Doesn't Imus pay a guy specifically for that?
Afterwards, Mrs. Imus could tidy up any mess that was made using her line of cleaning fluids that she sells to pay for her vacation home in New Mexico.
Newsflash:Once Again Far-Left Kills Democratic Party
Wed Apr 23, 2008 at 10:36:59 AM PDT
Only twice in the last forty years has our party nominated the candidate who ended up winning the general election------twice! And it's really hard to count Jimmy Carter since he was a product of the worst political scandal of our time by Richard Nixon and the Republicans.
So, in essence, one could say that we're not exactly the best at figuring out the political dynmamic vis-a-vis mainstream America because of the far-left of our party. But in contrast to us, it appears that the Republicans are innately guided by an invisible hand which invariably picks (since the McGovern Commission) the most competitive candidate.
Barack Obama states---ad nauseam---that he can reach across party lines and bring Republicans into the fold; however, primary exit polls conclude that he might not even be able to garner 60 percent of Hillary Clinton's support if he is the nominee. This kind of language closely parallels his assertion that he doesn't take money from lobbyists or his claims that he can't disown, then did disown, then can't disown, then did again disown jeremiah wright.
So, if you consider yourself a member of the far-left, please stay home until the general election. You will do OUR party a tremendous favor.
Who Obama Hangs With
Sat Apr 19, 2008 at 01:27:04 PM PDT
By now we have all heard about the debate.
The Rev. Wright and Weather Underground questions.
And whether you like it or not, a person IS judged by whom they are associated with.
That is just a fact of life.
The questions on the Rev. and Ayers needed to be asked.
I am sure that every parent on here looks at their kids friends and weeds out those who you don't want influencing your children.

Obama's Macaca Moment
Fri Apr 11, 2008 at 07:09:21 PM PDT
I can already hear the Republican 527 commercials now, panning scenes of wheat fields and factory workers with cleaned-up audio of the Messiah, Barack Obama, extolling Middle-American virtues:
And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
The search for a voice-over guy who can do a perfect Obama imitation is probably already underway.
Black Libertarians Have the Right Not to Vote for Obama

A Pre-Pennsylvania wrap up of why the Clintons are awful. (EDITED FOR LIBERALS)
Thu Apr 10, 2008 at 09:01:37 AM PDT
Here are a few reminders of why the Clintons are terrible. I wanted to keep it short so these are just the first three that popped into my head. If more are needed please see: Walmart, Mark Penn, Blackwater, War vote, Flag Burning, Cuba, Triangulation, 3am, and destroying the democratic party.
NEW: Seeing as I offended people with my language I have gone through and made the changes I feel are necessary to appease my liberal base.
Obama's Pro-Soviet, Anti-American Poet Mentor..!
Mon Apr 07, 2008 at 10:14:56 PM PDT
Well things just keep getting better and better for us life long Democrats with this debacle of a primary and what more and more is shaping up as one big disaster and embarrassing and severely depressing joke of an election for 2008..even I wondered if it could get any worse..!
To be honest I am no Obama supporter nor in any way a Clinton supporter like the rest of the Smart People, I supported and still support John Edwards with my heart also going for Congressman Dennis Kucinich who was so unfairly treated and censored in barred from the debates by our ever more fascist corporate media..
Now Obama seemed to dodge the Rev. Wright bullet for now at least and I did not buy his story as to never hearing Rev. Wright in almost 20 years go on as witnessed, "can I get a witness", as we all saw on YouTube..
Now this for me isn't a bullet it's a Hydrogen tipped cruise missile or Hellfire Thermobaric Bomb more accurately perhaps..coming at our very junior Senator from Illinois and it will for sure create maximum collateral damage..and that's us America, and all our hopes to be rid of these stinking lying thieving treasonous Republicans in 2008..
