ARRGHH!  Teh stoopid - it BURNS!

Those of you who pine for Trusted User "status", be careful what you wish for!   My tale of Whoa! is below the crease.

Amidst all the gnashing of teeth, tearing of hair, and long goodbyes, I have come to admit that I truly like the current State of DailyKos.  It has been especially funny (ironic funny) to me that so many are now writing GBCW diaries.  Were these people asleep during some of the nastiness of December and January?

Democracy and elections and campaigning and monitoring the campaigns all seems to be a rather messy business.  It's surprising we even have to review this truth considering what happened in Nov/Dec 2000.  I'm not sure what Richard Cranium and all the rest were expecting.  If you want purity and 100% goodness then this site is probably not for you.  As for the boorish noobs, why bother with any of their diaries.

Has it occurred to anyone that the reason conservatives can't agree with other conservatives about who is really a conservative is due to the fact that no one wants to be held responsible for the disasters wrought by conservatives?

Each of the three remaining, unimpressive Republican candidates represents a limb of the dismembered Reagan coalition.

Good evening, gentle people.  After the latest Democratic debacle with FISA I was hurting about it in a thread and was asked if I was a troll.  I said I was never cross-posting again, I wasn’t coming to this Democratic place, I had honor’n integrity’n all, I wasn’t going to take the abuse, yadda yadda yadda.

Since I have been loitering around with recs and comments for weeks I’m finally making myself spit out an explanation to y’all as to why this political junkie is still here.  I truly don’t consider myself worthy of conversation and the chances I’ll write something embarrassing are extremely high, but it’s disrespectful to the community not to explain.
